Following tests are available:

  • PCR (polymerase chain reaction)tests (mainly for people with symptoms, if you are flying or specfically need this test for other reason)
  • Rapid lateral flow tests (only for people with no symptoms) is an antigen test, such as a test from a lateral flow device
  • Day 5 Test to Release COVID-19

The testing process

The first step of taking a test for coronavirus usually involves taking a swab of the nose and the back of the throat, which can be done by the person themselves (self-administered) or by someone else (assisted).
